San Juan Airport (SJU)

San Juan Airport, known officially as San Juan Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) is located in Carolina, 3 miles (5 km) southeast of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The main US airlines with flights leaving from various US cities and serving San Juan are: Air Canada, Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines, and United Airlines.

US Territory

Since Puerto Rico is US territory, passengers on US flights to San Juan are making US city to city flights, and may exit freely into San Juan. Passengers on Caribbean and other international flights must clear US immigration and customs when entering San Juan or before boarding US flights.

Getting to the Hotel

The best method is to take a taxi. When you exit the baggage area look for the Taxi service line. See below. Get in line and buy a ticket to the hotel. The rate to the Caribe Hilton Hotel is $19.00.

Rental Cars

All the main rental car companies have cars available at the airport. The hotel has a parking gargage that charges $21/day to park a car. The directions from the airport to the hotel: Take 1st exit to the right: Baldorioty Expy #26 W. Follow approx 7 mi. until the end. Continue on Munoz Rivera #25, cross Dos Hermanos Bridge go through traffic lights. Follow road around the corner and the Hilton will be on the right.
