Thursday Night Reception

The Thursday night reception will begin at 6:00 pm and will take place in the 2nd floor Las Olas Room and Las Olas Terrace. Join us for light finger food and refreshments while you meet and greet your fellow conference attendees. There will be a cash Bar available.
The menu for the reception is:

Cocktail Puerto Rican Station - Fried green plantains with seafood topping; "chicharrones de pollo" (crispy chicken), meat turnovers “ empanadillas”; "alcapurrias", "sorrullitos" (Vegetarian), "piononos". Passed Hors d'oeuvres - Mini Ceviche with cilantro and avocado, Serrano Ham and Manchego Cheese, Spakakopita, Wild Mushrrom Tartet, Chicken Quesadilla Trumpet, Mini Beef kebab

Friday Breakfast Buffet

All registrants (full or students) are invited to come Friday Morning 7 am - 8 am for a breakfast buffet. Be sure to wear your name tag. The breakfast buffet is served in Caribe Hilton First Floor San Cristobal and includes:

Orange Juice
Assorted Breakfast Pastries to Include: Assorted Mini-Muffins, Assorted Mini-Danish and Mini-Bagels Served with Butter, Cream Cheese and Jam
Scrambled Eggs
Applewood Smoked Bacon
Freshly Brewed Coffee, Decaf, Hot Teas & Milk

Friday Welcome and Keynote Lunch

All registrants (full or students) are invited to join us in Caribe Hilton First Floor San Cristobal from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Be sure to wear your name tag. This lunch will include a welcome presentation and Keynote speakers. The menu is:

Local Root Bisque - Pumpkin soup
Fresh Garden Greens with Tomato, Carrots, Parmesan and Cucumbers
Thousand Island & Balsamic Vinaigrette
Grain Mustard Crème Potato Salad

Local Fish Filet/ Papaya Lime Relish

The goal of theThe lunch will include a welcome presentation, and the Keynote speaker, the Evans Award recipient. This lunch provides a networking opportunity between attendees and students. Use this time to meet the students and discuss graduate school at your university. Any registrant can bring a guest to the reception by purchasing a extra Friday Keynote Lunch ticket ($50).


Friday Night Zone II Awards Dinner Buffet

The ASEE Zone II sections - North Central, Southeastern and Illinois-Indiana - invite all registrants (full or student) to the annual Awards Dinner. The three sections will present their annual awards. The Buffet stations include:

Mixed greens, orange segments, candied pecans, red onion, raspberry walnut vinaigrette tomato, fresh buffalo mozzarella salad, basil vinaigrette;
grilled chicken breast and roasted shallots demi-glace or grilled beef tenderloin, pink pepper demi, sauteed mushrooms;
baby glazed carrots, grilled asparagus, golden Yukon potatoes with scallions;
bread and rolls display with olive oil, cilantro hummus and butter;
strawberries Grand Marnier, cheese brownie or tropical fruit pudding; and
Freshly Brewed Coffee, Decaf, Hot Teas

Any registrant can bring a guest to the reception by purchasing a extra Friday Night Zone II Awards Dinner ticket ($75).


 

Saturday Breakfast Buffet

All full registrants are invited to come Saturday Morning 7 am - 8 am to the Caribe Hilton First Floor San Cristobal for the breakfast buffet. The San Critobal Ballroom will have three different areas to all registrants to sit. These areas will be marked with the three ASEE Zone II sections: North Central, Southeastern and Illinois/Indiana. Please sit with your section and enjoy your breakfast while the sections' officers conduct their yearly meeting.
The buffet will include:

Assorted Breakfast Pastries to Include: Assorted Mini-Muffins, Assorted Mini-Danish and Mini-Bagels Served with Butter, Cream Cheese and Jam
Scrambled Eggs
Applewood Smoked Bacon
Freshly Brewed Coffee, Decaf, Hot Teas & Milk

Sunday Breakfast Buffet

All full registrants are invited to come Sunday Morning 7am - 8am in Caribe Hilton First Floor San Cristobal for the breakfast buffet. The San Critobal Ballroom will have tables set up with signs of the different engineering divisions. Please sit with your divisions and enjoy breakfast discussing the conference's paper presentations and possibly future work. The breakfast buffet will include:

Assorted Breakfast Pastries to Include: Assorted Mini-Muffins, Assorted Mini-Danish and Mini-Bagels Served with Butter, Cream Cheese and Jam
Scrambled Eggs
Applewood Smoked Bacon
